The 2012japanese Rath Yatra will
be held in Puri,Odisha on 21th June. It is the 2nd consecutive
year that India Japan friendship center Puri Odisha is organizing
this traditional Indian chariot festival by Japanese delegates
making hand made.
2-meter tall chariot will be pulled by participants
About 40 delegates from Japan, and other
international communities are expected to participate in this
cultural event India Japan friendship center. welcomes everybody
to join hands together to celebrate this
Japanese hand made Chariot-pulling ceremony.

FROM INFRONT OF HOTEL SANTANA charriot of Lord Jagannath
would be pulled on the Chakratirtha Road from Hotel Santana
to Temple Road Puri.
The chariot festival held in Japan,kyoto gionmatsuri same to
Puri Rath Yatra Japanese believes Rath Yatra came from Puri
to Kyoto and called gionmatsuri.
